Etowah was the Marion, Ohio home of the George W. King family, owners of the Marion Steam Shovel Company - the shovel that built the Panama Canal. Located on Mt. Vernon Avenue, directly across the street from the Harding home, Etowah was used during Warren Harding's front porch campaign to house such notables as Henry Ford. Later home to the Hoover Brown family of Wyandot Popcorn fame. Currently serves as Central Christian Church.
