My name is Scott Christian--I'm an "older" grad student at Indiana Univ. I'm hoping you can help me with the DUTCHER genealogy. Your name popped up in the RAND Genealogy WWW pages as being one who has researched the DUTCHER line. I am struggling to find data on one of my ancestors, and thought perhaps you might be able to help:
CATHERINE DUTCHER, b. ca. 1780??, probably in Western Mass. or NY state east of the Hudson. She married William WOLCOTT ca. 1800?? one of her daughters is my ancestor:
HANNAH WOLCOTT, b. 1806 in Springfield, MA dtr. of William WOLCOTT and Catherine DUTCHER (no further data on either) Hannah married Benjamin INGERSOLL in 1825 at Pulaski, NY.
Any chance you can help me with Catherine? I would appreciate anything you might offer.
