I am interested and am working on all Dutcher lines, but especially on the MI lines just now. My husband's line is: Roelof, Gabriel, Cornelius, Ruliff, Benjamin P., & Mary. They were in Dutchess Co., NY, Cayuga Co., NY, WI then Shiawassee Co., MI. I have information on 2 other lines who ended up this county also.

I have researched 3 seperate Dutcher families in my county (Shiawassee, MI) as well as 1 in Ingham Co. just to my south. They are:

1. Mary M. (Dutcher) Fulmer dau of Benjamin P. & Huldah (Randall) of Oswego Co., NY & Cynthia (Dutcher) Fulmer dau. of Roeloff & & Almira (Waring) Dutcher of Oswego, NY.
2. Benjamin son of John & Martha (Thomas) Dutcher of Corunna, Shia. Co., MI
3. John son of John & Sylvia (Beardsley) of Shia. Co. INGHAM CO.
4. Daniel & Maria (Bullock) Dutcher
5. Rebecca (Dutcher) Bullock
(I believe #'s 2. 4. & 5 bro. & sister; of Ingham, Shiawassee, Livingston, Counties)
6. Mary Jane (Dutcher) Hadden, dau. of Lawrence & (2) Mary Waldo. of Calhoun Co,

had intended only doing my husbands direct line...BUT so much information came my way on ALL Dutchers, I have 3 4inch notebooks full bursting at the seams...not all in the computer yet. I was curious about 2 other Dutcher families in my county and 1 in Ingham, so, as the information easy to get, did work on them. Trying to fill in the MI bunch as much as possible.
Yes, I have further b, m, ddts, obits etc. documented on my branch. I also own 2 photo albums that belonged to Mary Dutcher in which she had most people names, in order (hus. wife & children) and DATED. Most in 1860's. I am only missing one child...need whereabouts of a Lorenzo D. Dutcher b. 1820 son of Ruleff b. Cayuga Co., NY, was in WI...a LR states 1870 he was in MI, but have found no trace. His wife was Isabel (possibly Roberts ?) The Fulmers also went to WI before moving here to MI.
Cynthia Marie (Dutcher) b. 15 Dec 1829 Dutchess Co., NY m. 22 Dec. 1847 Thomas Christian Fulmer d. 3 Dec 1902 Owosso, Shiawassee Co., MI. Her husband d. WI and is buried there. She was a sister of Benj. P. Dutcher whose daughter Mary m. George Gardner Fulmer son of Cynthia & Thos. C.......so Cynthia and Mary were Aunt & niece, and Thos. & Geo. Fulmer father & son. Confused yet?
Almira (Waring) Dutcher b. Jan 1788 Dutchess Co., NY d. 18 Apr 1856 Oswego NY. I believe her father Cadwallader Waring, wife unknown b. 22 Sept 1769 Stamford, Fairfield Co., CT s/o Jona. & Rachel ? In 1800 he had 1 m und 10, 1 m 10-16, 1 m 26-45, 1 fe 10-16, 1 fe 26-45. Ruleff Dutcher and he both Dut. Co in 1820 both in Cayuga Co & a Robert Waring same pge res. next to each other. As I see only one female in 1800, and later none. However, there were other Waring's in Oswego Co, and might check those in Fairfield CT.

Reading newsletter on Dutcher page. Vol 3 No 2 Dec. l, 1938 answer to querie #101 John son of John & Sylvia Beardsley is TOTALLY INCORRECT.
I have the correct information as this John lived my county, and I have researched this family.
