Please help me track my Dutcher family! Perhaps you have corresponded with researchers of later families and could suggest someone else I might contact.
My line goes back to David Dutcher whom I first find in Hocking Co OH in the 1820 census. David was bc 1781 but died before the census data included birthplace. He was a Methodist minister in MO 1840 but his children almost always married Quakers.
Any direction, addresses, family associations you might suggest would be appreciated.
Thanks- Naomi

I have some Missouri DUTCHERs who proved to be from OH, rather
than PA, David's family includes two William Henrys, but both
born abt 1840.
David patented land in Morgan Co MO, but died just north of the
line in Moniteau County.
My DUTCHER name ends with 1832 mg in Hocking Co OH, Elizabeth
Dutcher and Elias Ratcliff. They followed David to MO and all are
buried in the Ratcliff-James Cemetery near High Point, Moniteau
Co MO. There is a continuing presence of Dutchers in
California MO, but they are not especially interested in the
family history.
I have seen land records in southern MO for another DUTCHER line,
but I'm not at all familiar with them.
